The Advisory Board consists of experts from the art world with in-depth knowledge of the contemporary art scene and the art market. The experts support us in the curating of artists, give us feedback on Artistery's activities and suggest young artists with potential for inclusion on the Artistery's platform.
Mag. Alexandra Grausam co-founded the Kunstverein das weisse haus in 2007, which she still runs today, with the aim of creating a lively platform for emerging artists in Austria. In 2013, it was expanded to include a studio and residency program (studio das weisse haus) for artists, theorists, critics, and curators. Alexandra Grausam also established the networking platform AWAY - a project around residencies. She is on various juries and advisory boards and has been a member of the supervisory board of Kunsthalle Wien since 2017. In 2006 Alexandra Grausam founded Atelier Siebenstern for conservation and restoration of paintings and contemporary art. She studied art history at the University of Vienna and conservation/restoration at the Technical University of Munich and the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.
Dr. Thomas Trenkler, born in Salzburg in 1960, studied German and art history in Graz (doctorate in 1991), has worked as a journalist since 1984, from 1993 to 2014 cultural editor at the "Standard" in Vienna, since 2015 in the same position at the "Kurier". Several book publications.
Mag. Barbara Horvath is an art historian, curator and cultural manager living in Vienna. After working for MAK Vienna, Thyssen Bornemisza Art Contemporary and KÖR Kunst im öffentlichen Raum (Public Art Vienna), among others, she has been artistic director at Kunstverein Eisenstadt since 2020. She has realized numerous exhibitions, art in public space projects and publications. Together with Lisa Ortner-Kreil she founded "art hoc projects" in April 2020.
Dr. Monika Wildner is a collector, lawyer and has been interested in contemporary art since her youth. During her studies she worked in one of the most recognized galleries in New York and started to invest in her own collection. Today her collection consists of exquisite works by contemporary artists and old etchings. She maintains active contact with artists, is on the board of the Viennese art association das weisse haus and helped with the conception of Artistery's.
Gabriele Lenikus lives her affinity for art and design both professionally as a creative director and interior designer and privately as a collector.
Many years of patronage of important museums, regular visits to international art fairs and an artist-in-residence program of the Lenikus Collection for more than 15 years gave her a good overview and expertise.
Fabian Geyrhalter is a brand strategist who was born in Vienna, Austria and has been living in Los Angeles for over half his life. He understands that any venture can turn into an admired brand if developed in an intrinsic, holistic, and methodological manner.
Fabian has deep expertise in guiding companies through their brand transformations, and his consultancy FINIEN has been sought out by companies such as Marriott International, Warner Brothers, Match Group, Honeywell, Kaplan, and Randstad. His thoughts on branding have appeared in publications like Inc., Forbes, Entrepreneur, and The Washington Post.
All three of his books became international Amazon best-sellers and turned into go-to resources for entrepreneurs and marketers alike. From his Resonaid brand strategy workshops to the Hitting the Mark podcast, Fabian is in a constant stimulation cycle, which is clearly visible when he advises clients or shares his insights with his followers.
