2019, Mixed media on canvas, 250 x 150 cm (WxH), packed in a roll
Inspired by the book "Where the Wild Guys Live", Theresa decided to make her surname Gregor her first name, so people thought the artist was a man and she painted a series of extremely colorful pictures. For her it was a liberation "to work as a man". For Theresa Gregor, these works in this series are an antithesis of the minimalism of recent years in the art scene. In earlier times, the orange was a symbol of exoticism and distance, even luxury - in other words, an ideal fruit for the theme Theresa Gregor deals with in this series.
The work is shipped in a roll. The wooden frame for stretching the canvas is delivered disassembled togethr with the painting.
